B.S.E. in Kinesiology
- Concentration in P-12 Teaching Physical Education: Students in this concentration are typically seeking Arkansas state teaching licensure in Physical Education, Wellness and Leisure. The students may also be seeking an endorsement in coaching.
- Concentration in Exercise Science-Pre-Professional Science: This prepares students who are seeking opportunities in the allied health science field, medical school, physical therapy school, physician's assistant school, occupational therapy school, dental school, chiropractor school or other post-baccalaureate professional programs of study. Students could use this degree in preparation for graduate studies in the areas of exercise physiology and/or biomechanics. In additional to the professional programs listed above, this concentration could result in a job teaching at the college level, or work in research in these areas.
- Concentration in Applied Exercise Science: Students with this degree may be employed by hospitals or other fitness areas to write and implement exercise prescriptions for individuals. This is an appropriate concentration for students interested in being a personal trainer or strength and conditioning coach. This program of study is also for students who are interested in exercise science with a core of athletic training courses and may desire continuing in a graduate program to become a Certified Athletic Trainer.
M.Ed. in Physical Education
- The program allows practicing physical education professionals an opportunity to receive advanced training in their field along with a master’s degree. The program is delivered entirely on the Internet, which allows students the flexibility to pursue the degree at a time and place that fits their schedule.

- Concentration in Exercise Science prepares students with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to become American College of Sports Medicine certified fitness directors.
- Concentration in Adapted Movement Science prepares students to work in either hospital or clinical environments with people who have disabilities.
- Concentration in Athletic Training prepares students to work as health care professionals for sports medicine clinics and hospitals.
Ph.D. in Kinesiology
The Ph.D. in Kinesiology prepares students to become teachers, researchers and leaders in the area of kinesiology in university settings. Concentrations in Exercise Science and Pedagogy are available.
