Application Process: Application Deadline January 15
Step 1: Complete and submit a University of Arkansas Graduate School Application.
This process can be completed online at: http://www.uark.edu/depts/gradinfo/public_html/
After being admitted to the HKRD Department and notified by the graduate school or athletic training program director, complete step two.
Step 2: Complete and submit the program application ancillary items and the Athletic Training Education Program online application.
Complete the following program ancillary items and submit them directly to the program director:

- Current CPR, (adult, child, and infant) and AED certificate - (training will take place during the first summer term for those who do not hold current certification at a cost of $40)
- Evidence of a preprogram physical examination based on the University of Arkansas' athletic training education program's technical standards by a board certified physician. If admitted to the athletic training education program, the preparticipation physical exam is offered at no charge at the university student health services building and can be done once on campus.
- Evidence of immunizations (mumps, measles, rubella, tetanus and diphtheria)
- Evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination or waiver prior to the beginning the clinical field base experience (provided by the athletic department)
- Evidence of a current tuberculosis screening test (provided by the athletic department)
- Evidence of a minimum of 50 hours of observation under the direct supervision of a BOC-certified athletic trainer (download observation documentation form)
- Three professional letters of recommendation (download letter of recommendation form)
- An unofficial copy of all current transcripts
- Syllabi from prerequisite courses if applicant did not graduate from the University of Arkansas
