The Graduate Athletic Training Education Program offers financial assistance to prospective students on an equal basis. Such financial assistance is defined as a nominal stipend that can be used toward the student's educational expenses. Notification of the financial assistance awarded to the student will be determined following the review of all application materials by the athletic training education program selection committee. In addition, the required course textbooks are purchased for each student who is admitted into the program for the fall and spring semesters. Also, travel, housing and registration will be provided to the Arkansas Athletic Trainers Association's annual meeting. All applicants are encouraged to apply for financial aid through the University of Arkansas Financial Aid Office and professional organizations. The financial assistance does not cover the cost of tuition and fees.
Minority students (students of underrepresented populations) are eligible to apply for the Benjamin Franklin Lever Minority Graduate Student Fellowship. This fellowship pays for all tuition during the graduate study.
