Bachelor of Science in Education K-12 Physical Education and Health
The Bachelor of Science in Education K-12 Physical Education and Health prepares students to teach in public and private schools, kindergarten through 12th grade. Students also may receive a coaching endorsement. The program works with the Office of Teacher Education to help students become licensed teachers.
Undergraduate students in Teaching K-12 Physical Education and Health are well prepared for a teaching career through hands-on teaching experiences at each level. The program culminates in a capstone experience (PHED 407V) Student Teaching Internship and PHED 4733 Senior Seminar.
Admission Requirements
For acceptance into the undergraduate program in physical education, applicants must meet the general admission requirements of the University of Arkansas.
